The 10th GLA Global Logistics Conference Held Grandly in Dubai, UAE

2024 marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE, with China being the UAE's top trading partner.

Since the launch of the "Belt and Road" initiative, the UAE has been an active participant, maintaining a wide and diverse economic and trade relationship with China and other countries involved in the initiative. The UAE plays a crucial role as a significant junction on the maritime and land Silk Road, offering a vast market space and an effective bridge for businesses going global.



Recently, the 10th GLA Global Logistics Conference was successfully held in Dubai, UAE. It was organized by the Global Logistics Enterprises Federation (GLEF) and hosted by the GLA Global Logistics Alliance, with support from the China-Arab Exchange Association, the UAE Logistics Association, the Shenzhen Institute of Information and Industrial Integration, Dubai government departments, and others.



Centered around the theme "Innovation, Collaboration, Sustainable Development," the conference conducted forward-looking discussions on the current opportunities and challenges in the international logistics industry. It featured a main forum and over ten specialized forums, focusing on cutting-edge topics such as big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, logistics robots, blockchain, and resilient supply chains. The conference broke boundaries with cross-border cooperation models, offering broader development prospects and forming a global, sustainable, and mutually beneficial cooperation ecosystem. Concurrently, various interactive segments such as Goverment to Government Cooperation, Government to Enterprise Forum, entrepreneur forums, exhibition areas for discussions, and one-on-one negotiations led the event.

The conference was attended by over 80 government representatives, business leaders, trade and logistics association heads from around the world, as well as entrepreneur representatives and professionals, more than 1500 international supply chain and logistics enterprises from over 100 countries.

The 10th GLA Global Logistics Conference not only showcased the frontier insights of logistics technology but also promoted the widespread application of intelligent logistics in various industries globally, boosting the coordinated economic development of countries worldwide towards higher quality.

At the opening ceremony, President Grace, the Founder of GLA Global Logistics Alliance and the Executive Chairman of the Global Logistics Enterprises Federation, warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked all the guests on behalf of the organizers. In her speech, she stated: GLA is committed to building an open, resource-gathering, and cooperative win-win comprehensive international logistics service platform, aiming to creat a better world for the global logistics. Each GLA Global Logistics Conference has been created new possibility. In Dubai, we explore the path of "Innovation, Collaboration, Sustainable Development," collectively opening up the prospects of global logistics. We hope the conference will foster more cooperation, inject new momentum into the global logistics industry, and jointly build a better future.



  1. E. Arzybek Kozhoshev, the Minister in Charge of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission, in his keynote speech, highlighted that the Eurasian Railway Alliance made breakthrough progress in 2023. The volume of the North-South International Transport Corridor increased by 38%, exceeding 19 million tons; meanwhile, the transportation volume across the Caspian Sea increased by 86%, reaching 28,000 tons. These achievements are set to continue fostering regional cooperation, building a more efficient and convenient international transport network, and injecting new vitality into regional and external cooperative development.



At the conference, more than 1,500 international logistics entrepreneur representatives will witness over 70,000 one-on-one meeting with GLA, setting the stage for international cooperation and a new logistics model. Focusing on "innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development," GLA is working with businesses worldwide to find new logistics solutions, helping to boost the global economy and propel the global logistics industry to new heights.





On the day, representatives from over 50 mainstream media, including China-Arab TV, Middle East News, UAE News Web, Oasis Times, Dubai Chinese Network, American Newsweek, Sino-Foreign Economic News Web, People's Daily, China News Web, China Economic Times, CCTV News Web, CCTV Video, Global Network, China Web, Sina Web, Tencent Web, Phoenix Web, China Web, Huicong Web, People's Web, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, Shenzhen Business Daily, Shenzhen News Web, Southern Web, and others, were present at the scene, witnessing this logistics industry event with enterprises from around the globe.



Simultaneously, the next GLA Global Logistics Conference is scheduled to take place from November 22 to 25, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand.
